Getting to the Rhine Falls<\/h1>
All the information you need to get to Europe’s largest waterfall, the Rhine Falls, by car or train and bus. Centrally located between Lake Constance, the Black Forest and Zurich. Within an hour’s drive from Zurich and two hours from Bern.<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>

Parking spaces at the Rhine Falls<\/h2>

We recommend travelling by public transport. The availability of parking spaces within walking distance is limited.<\/p>

In Switzerland, a toll sticker is required on the motorways (blue and green). The toll sticker is available in the area near the border for CHF 40.00. If you are driving on the A81, the toll sticker only applies from “Schaffhausen – Schweizersbild”.<\/p>

Cars (P2, P3, P4)<\/h3>

Per car up to 1 hour CHF 5.00, each additional hour CHF 2.00.
No parking fees between 6 p.m. and 9 a.m., except for P4.
Payment at the ticket machine in CHF, EUR or by credit card.<\/p>

Coaches (P1)<\/h3>

Per coach up to 1 hour CHF 40.00, each additional hour CHF 10.00.
No parking fees between 18.00 and 9.00.<\/p>

Access to the Rhine Falls area is free of charge.<\/p>

CHF 5.00 per car for up to 1 hour, CHF 2.00 for each additional hour.

Access to the Rhine Falls area<\/h3>\n

Access to the Rhine Falls site is subject to a entrance fee.<\/p>\n

Admission to the castle with Historama, Panoramaweg and access to the viewing platforms costs CHF 5.00 per person.
\nChildren 6 – 15 years CHF 3.00<\/p>\n

Tickets for visitors in wheelchairs, with prams and groups of 15 or more are available exclusively at the Schloss Laufen Visitor Centre.<\/p>\n

Train & Bus Connections<\/h2>

Bus<\/h3>

From Schaffhausen train station, please use the bus line 1 direction “Herbst\u00e4cker \/ Rheinfall” to the bus stop “Neuhausen Zentrum”. Walking distance to the Rhine Falls approx. 10 minutes.<\/p>

Bus line 6 direction “Neuhausen, Bahnhof SBB” to bus stop “Neuhausen Zentrum”. Walking distance to the Rhine Falls approx. 10 minutes.<\/p>

Train<\/h3>

From Schaffhausen train station, please use the S-Bahn No. 9 direction “Uster” to the stop “Neuhausen am Rheinfall”. Walking distance to the Rhine Falls approx. 3 minutes.<\/p>

Use the S-Bahn No. 33 direction “Winterthur” to the stop “Schloss Laufen am Rheinfall”. Walking distance to the Rhine Falls approx. 3 minutes.<\/p>
